![]() ![]() “I challenge you to come find us.’ ‘This is Penryn Young, Daughter of Man, Killer of Angels.” I had high hopes but it never reached its full potential after Angelfall. Raffe was still his gorgeous and cocky/smart ass self which I have loved since the 1st book. But this being a YA book we only had couple of kisses here and there. The only thing that saved this story was Raffe and Penryn’s relationship. It did not feel like a whole and did not connect or mesh well together. It was definitely an original take on apocalyptic romance but some scenes on this book was a bit too weird and confusing. Angelfall remained to be my favorite out of the three and I think the author never actually thought out how to end this or where she wants to take the series. I finally finished this series and thank God it was only 3 books. ![]() When Uriel unleashed a nightmare against the humans Raffe and Penryn had to choose: their own kind or their love? As they spent more time together they soon realized that they both have different responsibilities to attend to and each step they take it seems to push them away from each other. Penryn and Raffe on the run from Uriel while searching for a doctor that can somehow help fix Raffe’s wings and cure Penryn’s sister. **** Check out old book review World After: ![]() The book starts right off where we left off from World After. “Power is best held by the ones who don’t want it.” ![]()
